Food Waste Seminar

Odile le Bolloch of the EPA, will be speaking at the Food Waste Seminar taking place in Smock Alley Theatre.
The seminar has been organised by Eastern-Midlands Regional Waste Management Office to discuss the results of their 18/19 TRiFOCAL food waste prevention project. Activities and initiatives carried out by other cities involved in the project will be showcased and a panel will discuss food waste prevention in urban areas.
The seminar will take place on Friday June 14th and will run from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm. The event is free, however you must register on Eventbrite using this link.
TRiFOCAL is an EU LIFE funded project, managed by a number of organisations in London. Dublin was a replication city.
As part of this project Eastern-Midlands Regional Waste Management Office carried out brown bin trials in apartments, school food waste prevention workshops, and made a mini-cooking series for social media.
